Daniella Arellano is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2011. A San Antonio native, she returned home to begin her medical training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2014. Prior to joining Sonterra Dermatology, Daniella worked in a pediatric practice, where she acquired her initial clinical experience treating patients with a variety of medical illnesses, including conditions of the skin. She is excited and grateful to be a part of the team at Sonterra Dermatology, where she is receiving thorough training in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Daniella particularly enjoys being involved in patient care and values the importance of the relationship between the patient and provider. She looks forward to continuing to cultivate this relationship through clear, compassionate, communication and patient education in order to help patients achieve optimal results. She is trained in various aesthetic procedures including coolsculpting, lasers, Skinpen microneedling, Sciton BBL, and Miradry. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. In her free time, Daniella enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and family.
