Dr. Jorge Aldo Hinojosa grew up in Pharr, Texas, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where he graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), Gold Humanism Honor Society (GGHS) and received the Award for Excellence in Dermatology. He completed a one-year research fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Amit Pandya investigating Vitiligo and other pigmentary disorders. After medical school, he completed a Transitional-Year Internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, before returning to UT Southwestern for Dermatology Residency, where he was Chief Resident.
Dr. Hinojosa’s is a native Spanish speaker. His interest in dermatology includes general dermatology, pigmentary disorders, skin cancer, dermatologic surgery, psoriasis, and cosmetics. In his free time, Dr. Hinojosa enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing tennis, and barbequing.
I was botched and had some skin damage under my eyes, I was seen by Dr. Hinojosa who was so kind, empathetic and honest. His bedside manner was top notch and after the experience I'd had I was on edge with any treatments for my face but he won over my trust and confidence , and a few months later I was able to see the results of hos treatment plan and I'm 💯 happy and look so much better !! I recently met with Dr. Garcia for a cosmetic treatment and ahe was so friendly! I loved her suggestions for my botox and am loving my results. I recently started a treatment series for MD laser with Teresa who was super detailed with the process and realistic results but after seeing the results of my first treatment I'm now super excited for my future treatments! Everyone at this office is super nice and I love all the services from the medical side of the clinic to the cosmetic side. I would refer and highly recommend this clinic, as they have AMAZING, CARING providers and staff.

Dr Jorge Hinojosa and associates were so kind and caring. The front office was welcoming and efficient even when I got a little lost getting there. The good news it’s just Seborrheic Keratosis (wisdom spots). I will see them again in one year! 🩷
Late to my appointment, and Dr Hinojosa still saw me. Took his time and listened to me. Can't find service like this any where. Sonterra Dermatology deserves a 5 rating.
