He was the first and only dermatologist to ever suggest I go to an endocrinologist to figure out why I'm basically growing a beard and having so many skin tags (along w other things). He prescribed me an amazing cream to help with my acne. He was thorough and caring and very helpful. The services are a little pricey but definitely worth it for the quality of care received. More

Dr. Moore took time with me, addressed my concerns, and came up with a morning and night routine to improve the unwanted texture on my cheeks. He anticipated what questions I would have before I asked them! I didn’t feel rushed and he was very warm. Deja was attentive and friendly and she wrote down everything that Dr. Moore recommended for me and gave her skincare tips on sunscreen. Nicole was awesome at check out and took the time to patch test the sunscreen on my skin to ensure it would look natural. Overall it was a great visit, the entire team was very welcoming and professional. Nicole even had me laughing during checkout. I want to thank everyone at Sonterra Dermatology who has helped me get my Taltz injections. It has been a struggle with insurance denying the medication because they don't cover Taltz. Also, getting the run around from multiple pharmacies about who would fill the prescription was a pain. I have been without my medicine for months and started having psoriasis flare-ups. The dedicated staff at Sonterra Dermatology worked on an appeal for me with the insurance company. I am so grateful my medication finally got approved. I have tried multiple biologics, and Taltz was the only medication that would clear up my stubborn patches. Thank you, Sonterra Dermatology, for everything you did to help me. I had my first visit today. I saw PA Teagan. Everyone was very friendly. I had a complete body mole check. I felt very comfortable during the exam. My only complaint is it felt a little rushed. I was in the office for a total of maybe 45 min and with the PA for maybe 15-20 minutes. Normally I would not complain about that however my bill was $118.00. I have a deductible so I knew I would have to pay I just wasn’t expecting it to be quite that high. Other than that everything was fine. More

I came to Sonterra following Dr. Cervantes from a different practice. She is the most thorough dermatologist I have ever had. Last month when I went for my routine annual exam, Dr. Cervantes caught a very early stage melanoma behind my ear. Dr. Garcia and her staff at Sonterra Dermatology have been helping me for many years and, frankly, they are the BEST. I have had numerous dermatologists over the last almost 50 years, and they all have been good, but these guys are the best. When dealing with biologics, you need someone in your corner to help navigate the process with the specialty pharmacy and your insurance carrier. In some instances, Dr. Garcia’s team has had to personally deal with these entities many times. They always diligently managed the process and have always got the job done. When I go in to their office, they know me. I am never waiting for more than a few minutes, and I am always greeted with a smile. Dr. Garcia is extremely knowledgeable and I appreciate her advice and recommendations. Most importantly, Dr. Garcia is very compassionate. Great first impression! I initially received a referral from my PCP to another dermatology clinic but, after reading some of the reviews and asking around, I made the decision to cancel that referral and find another clinic in my network. I chose this one based on the good reviews here and elsewhere. I was seen by Daniella Arellano PA-C for hair loss/thinning. She listened to everything I had to say and presented various options we could take. No pressure to dive balding-head first into some expensive procedure, but I am happy that I was presented with a few paths to pursue without ruling out any of them for future consideration. I even had some medical questions a week after my appointment so I called and left a message, and I received a call back the same day with answers.This was my first time at this office. It was very clean and everyone I encountered from check-in to check-out was very nice. Located on Sonterra ACROSS from the Methodist hospital - navigation kept wanting me to go TO the hospital!I have only given it 4 stars because I don’t know yet if the visit will fix my issue and I did not want to mislead anyone by giving the impression they can fix EVERYTHING immediately. I have a skni check twice a year. When one of those visits turned into a skincancer mole it was removed and I had to be referred to another doctor to remove several layers of skin. I have been cancer free for several years. If Dr. GARCIA was not as thorough thiswould have been missed and the cancer would have spread. Her staff are all very nice also. More
