"I have been going to Sonterra Dermatology for years and I would not go anywhere else. I love this place. All Staff and doctors are awesome. Dr Metzinger has always taken care of me. I would highly recommend Sonterra Dermatology. I am still a patient at Sonterra Dermatology and now they help me with creams and serums for my face to keep it looking youthful and at its best and my medical ( psoriasis) has been under control at its best. The office runs ON SCHEDULE, I did not have to wait at all and actually was seen slightly earlier than my appointment time! Dr. Moore took time with me, addressed my concerns, and came up with a morning and night routine to improve the unwanted texture on my cheeks. He anticipated what questions I would have before I asked them! I didnāt feel rushed and he was very warm. Deja was attentive and friendly and she wrote down everything that Dr. Moore recommended for me and gave her skincare tips on sunscreen. Nicole was awesome at check out and took the time to patch test the sunscreen on my skin to ensure it would look natural. Overall it was a great visit, the entire team was very welcoming and professional. Nicole even had me laughing during checkout. They stocked all the products that they recommended, which made things much easier for me to buy all at the same time and place. Will update with results of the new routine."

Also, getting the run around from multiple pharmacies about who would fill the prescription was a pain. I have been without my medicine for months and started having psoriasis flare-ups. The dedicated staff at Sonterra Dermatology worked on an appeal for me with the insurance company. I am so grateful my medication finally got approved. "I had my first visit today. I saw PA Teagan. Everyone was very friendly. I had a complete body mole check. I felt very comfortable during the exam. My only complaint is it felt a little rushed. I was in the office for a total of maybe 45 min and with the PA for maybe 15-20 minutes. Normally I would not complain about that however my bill was $118.00. I have a deductible so I knew I would have to pay I just wasnāt expecting it to be quite that high. Other than that everything was fine."

"Dr. Garcia and her staff at Sonterra Dermatology have been helping me for many years and, frankly, they are the BEST. I have had numerous dermatologists over the last almost 50 years, and they all have been good, but these guys are the best. When dealing with biologics, you need someone in your corner to help navigate the process with the specialty pharmacy and your insurance carrier. In some instances, Dr. Garciaās team has had to personally deal with these entities many times. They always diligently managed the process and have always got the job done. When I go in to their office, they know me. I am never waiting for more than a few minutes, and I am always greeted with a smile. Dr. Garcia is extremely knowledgeable and I appreciate her advice and recommendations. Most importantly, Dr. Garcia is very compassionate. She understands how challenging it is for patients to deal with, in my instance, a lifetime of psoriasis. They are all great and have my highest recommendation."

I initially received a referral from my PCP to another dermatology clinic but, after reading some of the reviews and asking around, I made the decision to cancel that referral and find another clinic in my network. I chose this one based on the good reviews here and elsewhere. I was seen by Daniella Arellano PA-C for hair loss/thinning. She listened to everything I had to say and presented various options we could take. No pressure to dive balding-head first into some expensive procedure, but I am happy that I was presented with a few paths to pursue without ruling out any of them for future consideration. I even had some medical questions a week after my appointment so I called and left a message, and I received a call back the same day with answers.This was my first time at this office. It was very clean and everyone I encountered from check-in to check-out was very nice. Located on Sonterra ACROSS from the Methodist hospital - navigation kept wanting me to go TO the hospital!I have only given it 4 stars because I donāt know yet if the visit will fix my issue and I did not want to mislead anyone by giving the impression they can fix EVERYTHING immediately.
