"I have been going to Sonterra Dermatology for over 2 years and have always had a pleasant experience. The front desk staff are always speedy and effective, something I always appreciate as someone who works reception for a medical office. The medical assistants are professional and personable. I usually see Dr. Metzinger who is very knowledgeable and has suggested new treatment options while explaining the risks vs benefits so I could make an informed decision. You can tell that she keeps up with the latest research and recommendations by suggesting new medication options that my old dermatologist had been uninformed about. Receiving prior authorizations for medications has been a seamless process and the biologics coordinator has kept me updated every step of the way, which I greatly appreciate. I loved that the staff member acknowledged me while she received a phone call, but as soon as I came to her desk to schedule my follow up, she politely said to the person on the other end of the phone, “I have a patient, let me call you right back.” The level of customer service and courtesy displayed by this office is exemplary and I would recommend this office to anyone who is seeking a dermatologist for their medical and cosmetic needs.
